Do You Have a ‘Default Gap Syndrome?

Are you using redundant thinking for modern needs?

Could a ‘Default Gap’ Be Holding You Back?’

The answer to both these questions is highly likely to be, YES!

Do you believe your past actually happened how you think it happened? Do you believe the story that you tell yourself or others regarding your life and why you think you have not made the big time, achieved your goals and dreams? Do you believe your ‘Default Gap Syndrome’ could actually be holding you back in a big way?

What do I mean?

With the past you either make it rosier or make it more gloomy than it was. Worst still you are incapable of actually seeing what it really was. You cannot see what is really staring you in the eyes because it is all hidden from sight by blindfolds you put in place yourself most probably without realising. These are called filters. Some filters are called normality filters. Those are created by your past normal behaviours. Others are called defence filters. Normality filters are deeply set in your unconscious mind. Defence filters are more likely to be hovering at the edges of your conscious thoughts. Defence filters are created so that you should not be reminded of what is so obvious but incomprehensible or too painful. Then there are other filters and filters within filters and so on, all of which can be appropriately listed as self imposed stumbling blocks.

Have you ever been to a film, show or concert or some type of event and at the time it was pretty good but not exceptional. When you are telling a friend about it a few days or weeks later, the concert was AMAZING or frankly just about OK. Or perhaps you speak about the good old days often or how bad things used to be?

How come?

You and I simply distort and delete information each and every day and we make meaning for ourselves from everything we see, feel, hear, taste, smell or sense through our intuition awareness. We will re-asses and adjust what happens. All conclusions are according to our perspective, experience and our values.

Are You Using Old Technology Thinking?

The interesting news is the meaning you made is often incorrect, and your past literally only has one purpose. Yes sometimes it can be nice to reminisce but the only purpose of the past is for you to learn from it. However, if your interpretation is littered with veils and stumbling blocks i.e. ‘Default Gaps,’ this is easier said than done. How can you learn from it when you have a blindfold filter so you cannot see it or see the real facts or truth?

It’s that simple.

You have a story (like we all do) regarding your life. Your upbringing, what did and didn’t happen throughout your life, who did and said what and what you are convinced that meant. The hurt, the embarrassment, your failings or successes at school or at work and as a mother, father, brother, sister etc. All these things relate back to the models of behaviour and expectations you learnt to be normal before your sixth birthday or the following few years.

You have made meaning from all of the above and that doesn’t mean that it’s true. (Highly likely it’s not, well, at least not all of it.) The problem is your story containing truths, facts, distorted facts, fiction and all the emotions and distortions becomes you because they all control how you think, therefore how you create your future.

The more that truth, facts and fiction gets jumbled the more and the bigger the stumbling blocks you create in the way of your progress. Each time you tell yourself your story you reinforce the illusions you have taught yourself to be fact and truth.

Maybe it justifies what you do or don’t have, or maybe you think it explains why you are like you are and why you only achieve what you do. Perhaps you need it to explain the mess in your life is all other people’s fault. Why you are having so much difficulty to be like others you envy. What this attitude does not do is to explain why when you do try to make changes you eventually change back to where you were before. Look deeper and you will likely find what you have fallen back to, are the behaviours of your early childhood environment.

Looks Good, Feels Good And Do You See The Gap?

Right now I’m sharing with you what you have created (made up) who you think you are and if you’d like to be different in some ways, you can be. Most people never do this because it is tough to accept the real truth or facts that you are secretly aware of. Nonetheless what you are unaware of is their power also their significance concerning your current condition. Therefore the effort and possibly emotional pain will likely be repaid in truck loads of rewards.

Change your personal story for the better and you WILL change your life and your future for the better.

Sounds good but how do you change your story and still be yourself?

Ah! There lies another important stumbling block. You insist on being yourself. Wait a minute it is yourself that is not working so why are you insistent in continuing to shoot yourself in the foot?

Okay yes, it is scary. Good, now you are beginning to think more clearly. Scary, fear, doubt! Great! Remember these are your emotional friends not your enemies. When you have decided the good bits that do work, which may be worth keeping and the bits that do not work that you should really change, you are making real progress. Also when you have planned in detail who you would like to be, then the scary, fear and doubt will fade into the mists of time and you will be ready to create the new you with confidence without all those stumbling blocks.

Yes, It Is Charming And It Is Only Good For Pedestrian Thinking.

Well, if you want to do it by yourself you can attempt to identify the events that have happened to you and the distortions you wilfully made through your life. However you will do much better to read through the following and then find yourself a competent and experienced coach specializing in this field of support.

The secret in finding your ‘Default Gap’ is to find the behaviours you regarded as normal, which you were not aware of creating roughly between the age of 3 to 9 or 10 years of age. Then you find the ones that are your stumbling blocks. You will find they are the ones you are still doing the same thing albeit in a variety of different ways. Yet fundamentally they amount to the same behaviour or pattern of thinking you programmed yourself to regard as normal in your early childhood. Analyse them and you will find they are holding you back today.

Let me explain how this works.

Imagine you grew up in a family environment where you essentially lived a privileged existence. You lived in a large house in a beautiful garden of say 6 or 8 acres. In your environment and education, etiquette, good manners, politeness, caring and expectations for a high society life is the norm. You are taught to respect everyone and everything, do as you are told and be silent unless spoken to but sometimes you can be a little naughty. Then something goes seriously wrong when you are just 4 years old. Your parents have lost everything as the family fortune has been eradicated by an irresponsible bank employee investing in high risk panic trading. Also at this time your father is taken seriously ill so the family income is more than drastically reduced.

You begin to notice how things have changed. Your parent’s friends are no longer coming to dinner parties or cocktails. The house is not as warm as it used to be in the winter and you tend to live mostly around the kitchen table rather than a large and comfortable dinning and sitting rooms. Much of the garden is now given over to producing vegetables, and fruit. A chicken run is built to produce eggs and chickens to eat. There are new bee hives at the bottom of the garden. An old greenhouse is renovated to produce tomatoes and salad. There is no more a gardener so you are co-opted to helping tend the garden, collect eggs, chop wood and other duties that become your daily life.

Have You Seen The Default Gap Yet?

In the evening after school you help in the garden and most of your weekend is taken up by mowing the extensive lawns, learning and helping to maintain the house and out houses, washing the car and other constantly demanding tasks. Even at this tender age you begin to learn how to mend things that can no longer be sent for repair. It is still a beautiful place to live and grow up and you learn to love and really enjoy a great deal including the tennis court, the swimming pool also other sports facilities in the garden such as a small golf course of a few holes, ping-pong, baseball, flying kites and so on. Because you are no longer invited to birthday parties, your home has become your world and your universe. Everything you need is in this little heaven, which you have learnt to take for granted. You do not have to be told what to do because you have come to love and appreciate so much. As you are growing up there are few new purchases, even a packet of sweets is a rear treat. Because there is no spare money to buy what you want you learn to use the resources in your little world that nature provides or you find in the many garages or storage sheds. You miss the times when you had played ball with your father, mother and siblings. So now you imagine games of your own or make a den and pretend play cowboys and Indians. Perhaps you play pirates turning a tree and a few bits of old rope and a hammock into an imaginary galleon or you gallop around the garden on your make believe horse chasing or being chased by a hoard of Indians.

Now do you understand how for six years 24/7 you have been programming your mind with this default behaviour program? You have not the slightest idea what has been happening or the consequential effect on your future life’s thinking patterns and strategies.

Milk! Are You Mad – And How Long Have You Been Trying To Squeeze Blood from A Stone?

Up to the age of 10 to 12 years of age is when you create your most fundamental beliefs, values, attitudes and habits or behaviours.

Now you are 9 years old and your father dies. The big house is sold, and you move into a small house with a small garden. Half the garden is still for producing fruit and vegetables and still producing chickens and eggs. In the house much of the furniture you have grown familiar with, is still around you so your new environment has a semblance of normality. However your mother now goes to work and you find yourself left to your own devices without any guidance so you make the best you can of your life, school and college days then go out into the big bad world.

Now guess what is the first thing you do? That is right, you go straight into survival mode to plan your life how to survive rather than planning how to be abundantly wealthy. The worst think is that because ‘abundantly wealthy’ has not been part of your survival up-bringing it does not enter your thoughts as a practical option. This means that you may certainly create wealth with one significant hitch. Your income or wealth generation will always be adequate for your needs with no allowance for abundance or substantial savings for the real luxuries of life.

The years slip by, 25, – 35, – 45. In middle age you begin to realise no matter how hard you work you seem to take two steps forward and one back. This gives you a feeling of a sort of elegant survival where you just keep on shooting yourself in the foot as you make the same or similar regrettable life mistakes. There seems to be a notion in the back of your mind about what this means but you just cannot quite put your finger on it. You don’t really understand because you had a wonderful upbringing and lived the elegant life but then it somehow melted away. For as far back as you can remember, just as you are about to reach goals or dreams of things you will do, they vaporize just before you reach them. You feel as if you belong to a different age that had a different order.

Then one day you are pondering your past and you suddenly realise you are still doing essentially what you learnt to do from the age of 3 to 9 years old. As you grew up you became used to a behaviour of survival while you never realised that it was survival. You never noticed the gap between the former richness and wealth that had created your environment and background and the actual almost financial also social poverty you had adopted as normal. Now it hits you that the feeling of mismatching and belonging to a different time is actually the distortion or gap you are living of the behaviours , attitudes, beliefs, values and education of an elite family while actually living the behaviours, values and attitudes of near survival and not realising or noticing anything was wrong. So for the past 25 years in your career, instead of thinking progressively you are constantly in a survival mindset. The consequences are that you keep missing that promotion. Your salary increases only slowly and instead of paying for companies to provide services for you, you have to find ways to provide your needs by any means you can. Instead of holidays like other families you enjoy your vacation at home with occasional day trips to somewhere nice. You provide for your needs by using whatever resources you have in your home or plan how to stretch your credit card to buy a few more essential items.

Next you realise that despite being a qualified professional, even quite highly regarded by many for your advanced knowledge and expertise, you just keep running into the same old wall of no entry to the high life. You begin to add 2 + 2 and bingo you understand why your college friends are now top executives, or run their own successful companies and not you. Now it is clear how those first few years that set your way of thinking about your future. No, not consciously, this all happened in your unconscious way of thinking.

Your head is reeling in this onslaught of clarity when another block buster slams into your conscious thoughts. You notice a connection between your thinking patterns and the high level of stress in your life. You had always put your stress and persistent near migraine headaches down to pressures of your job. As the picture unfolds you realise that because your default survival strategy thinking of 3 to 9 years of age had by default become your natural way of thinking. The relative success and certain level of renewed wealth in your middle age due to your profession was the real problem. Although not extraordinary it had at one time been quite acceptable subject to certain restraints. Now you see how that level of success and abundance had actually been at log-a-heads with your underlying unconscious childhood default programmed survival strategy way of thinking. You begin to understand it is this, not your job that is driving your stress. Also it is this conflict between your default unconscious thinking and your efforts to succeed that is the actual cause of feelings of constantly running into a wall. In addition it is this conflict that is causing the ‘two steps forward and one back’ behaviour. Suddenly you see why you always got the shitty problems no one else could handle at work. This was because you could be relied upon to think through the seemingly impossible to drag disasters out of a hole. Your managers refer to you as the office Life-buoy. But then someone else would take over when you had saved the day and they got the eventual accolades or rewards as your crucial involvement had been long forgotten. Now you feel a punch of anger as you realise that it was your survival attitude, which prevented you from taking any of those projects through to their successful conclusion. Your managers were right to give all those contracts to someone else after you had rescued them. The underlying feeling that you are loosing the fight is rising and more constantly in your thoughts. Thus you see yourself slipping back to near survival again just as you did in your early youth. Once again you feel there is nothing you can do about it, you are forever caught in an endless cycle.

What Needs To Change To Think This Big?

Well the good news is that there is something you can do to change all that and it is simpler and it can happen faster than you can imagine. Do it on your own and it could take you a life time. However, do it with the guidance of a professional competent to accompany you to unravel this type of problem or syndrome and you may likely do it in days rather than an eternity of re-inventing the wheel of how your mind works.

Seeing what you want to see or seeing a better reality.

Apart from my professional career that paid the bills, in my capacity as a healer I have in the past done my best to be gentle, caring and compassionate. 15 years ago I began to study thinking patterns, modern psychology of NLP and advanced coaching and more. After 40 years as a successful healer I finally discovered how some of the most staggering healings worked. As an NLP master practitioner and a life and sportsmind coach I realised how the gentle, caring compassionate attitude gets in the way of healing. It does not matter the nature of what is being healed, body, soul, feeling, emotions, life problems or professional failings. Whether, a healer or coach, healing or any form of progress only starts happening when the patient or client begins to make appropriate choices and decisions. The full description is set out on my book, Activating Spontaneous Healing. You can find how to purchase a copy at www.asrkey.com

I read the following question on a social media site: “Is it wrong to be vulnerable and transparent in your emotions…while interacting with others???”

You make your choices and then accept the consequences. if not you are at risk of seriously undermining what is left of your own confidence.

In my past capacity as a legal expert, I quickly learnt that my personal and professional experience carried far more weight in any argument than quoting from elegant or studied text derived from someone else’s mind crunching exercises. So the following is derived from well over 40 years experience rather than my personal beliefs.

Take the three words wrong, vulnerable and transparent. Is anything right or wrong in this world or your world? My conclusion is that things are a matter of degree of being more or less appropriate according to the circumstances.

To be vulnerable is to be a victim. Do you actually want to choose to be vulnerable or be a victim? Do not be surprised many people do. Ask yourself and please decide what and who you want to be. Do you want to lead yourself or do you want to be led by the nose to be a slave to everyone else and their insensitive choices? It is not right or wrong to be vulnerable. It is a matter of making choices; about what you want also your attitudes and values.

To be transparent is to be open house to allow whoever to storm in and tramp their muddy boots all over your feelings sensitivities, hopes, dreams or whatever else you covert in your secret garden. Your secret garden is what it says. It is where you create and nurture your most delicate and tender dreams. Expose it to a garden party for all comers and there will be no more secrets. Your emotions will be shredded by the hobnail boots of insensitivity.

Beyond these gates is your secret garden, open then at your own peril.

I have heard so many people who admit to believing they themselves are losers. They are the people quick to open up, be vulnerable and transparent particularly in training seminars. My conclusion is they have chosen to fall on their own sword because they chose to be vulnerable to the rest of the world who willingly then profit by their vulnerability. They willingly call themselves losers because they have recognised the results of their choices but failed to observe the attitudes or behaviours that actually turn them into losers.

Thus, be careful about being wrong, vulnerable or transparent. Unless you are a loser there is never any merit in being wrong. In my experience only losers deliberately make themselves vulnerable. Be transparent at your own peril. Those who openly make themselves wrong, vulnerable or transparent are most likely in search of a support crutch, love at any price or a temporary boost to their permanently leaking self-confidence. What are you in search of?

Being Smart Takes Just a Little Thought.

If you need to ask the following question follow it immediately with another, which says; what do you want your life to be?

Is it wrong to be vulnerable and transparent in your emotions?

What Makes Mistakes Count.

FLUFFY WATER!

I have been studying what makes mistakes count for a very long time. Recently I watched an interview with John Dyson the creator of Dyson vacuum cleaners, he was advocating the encouragement of children to make mistakes and giving them more points for the more mistakes they make. The principle is we learn from our mistakes. That is the first flaw in this hair brained proposal, history shows we rarely learn from our mistakes until it is mostly too late. This is why we all have regrets.

Someone left a message on my weblog a little while ago to say the typos in my blog articles annoyed him or her intensely and please to correct all typing errors before publishing.

You might think I would be upset at such criticism after my efforts to publish what many agree are useful articles. Well, quite the contrary. First I was delighted to know my articles are avidly read also this comment reminded me of the terrible damage stress and long term excessive cortisol does to the brain, how it works also the end results or level of professionalism one achieves. In this case that means how few mistakes I make.

So what makes mistakes count?

My doctor told me that my level of burnout also massive and prolonged production of cortisol brought me close to instant death syndrome. That is to say my life drive system almost shut down because of the long term damage cortisol had done to my body and my brain. If you are not aware of these dangers, look up Cortisol on the internet. One of the after effects of burnout for me has been chronic word blindness. Just before my life, career and businesses came to a grinding standstill, I was at a peak of stress. Sometimes what I wrote simply did not make sense to other people. To the observer, it became clear there were missing words or parts of sentences. The strange thing was that when I read my own letters they made excellent sense. What was happening was that my unconscious mind filled in the gaps because it knew what I had in mind and what should have been written on the page.

I suspect largely due to political correctness ‘word blindness’ has been renamed Dyslexia. 40 years after leaving my boarding school in Oxfordshire, I read in an old boy’s journal 2009 an article by one of my English teachers. He said that on reflection in his opinion the majority of the boys at that school were suffering from significant dyslexia. The problem was that in the early 1960’s schools had neither a clue about dyslexia nor how to treat it.

Yes, he may have been right and on reflection I believe I did suffer from word blindness at that time and throughout my life. Research has shown that everyone is dyslexic to some extent also specific certain subjects. The trick is first recognising this fact and then learning ways to compensate rather than ignoring it or thinking you can beat it.

Most recognised geniuses are known to have been extremely dyslexic in one form or another. There are indications that severe depression may also be a form of dyxlexia. Certainly many gifted writers, artists, researchers and inventors are known to have suffered peaks of depression. Their genius seems to be actually directly as a result of the unique way they see, feel or interpreting the world, their word around them.

Now lets get back to what makes mistakes count. I get many comments from people who do not speak English as their mother tongue. Frankly their messages are terrible English because of their inadequate use of English grammar. But it does not matter because my mind can fill in the gaps and correct the defective grammar. But the question remains, why do I still make typing mistakes? The answer is that I just do not see them. This is what dyslexia does. I am currently working on a new mind program that can correct this problem. I will let you know what progress I make in due course. However, when I write an article I use spell checker to correct any spelling or typing mistakes. The problem that spell check cannot correct is if I spell the words correctly but I do not see that the word is not the right one. For example, recently I meant to write ‘wild boar’, but spelt ‘wild bore’. I was of course referring to the wild pig i.e. ‘boar’. But spellchecker is not programmed to detect inappropriate word usage.

So yes, I accept my word blindness. When I write a book manuscript I have to read the manuscript many times and still an editor will find irregularities or typos I have not been able to detect.

I understand where Dyson is coming from. Also I have the experience of managing 7 companies, to know his proposal is extremely dangerous. No business or individual career can afford too many mistakes. In my opinion it has the potential to make a mess of children’s lives in the long term future. When young we soak up information like a sponge also we set behavioral parameters that affect or dominate our attitudes and standards for the rest of our lives. To teach children by rewarding them for their mistakes is a nightmare in the making. Okay, In Dyson’s factory and R&D department with its £40 million plus R&D budget that is fine. But to send children out into the world with the idea that making mistakes is what makes mistakes count is working against their best interests in a way more chaotic than I can imagine.

So if you know you are suffering from stress, here is a clue to how bad it may be. First, ascertain in what way you are dyslexic. Has it worsened, if so to what degree? Does it fluctuate from normal to bad to chronic or how does is affect you? If you have noticed something like or similar to the above then if the condition has become serious, if only at times, you really do have to take some positive action before you risk a far more serious possibility.

You will make mistakes, we all make mistakes. What makes mistakes count is when we learn from them. Make a point not to make those mistakes again also use that learning to avoid making similar or associates mistakes. If you know anything about universal collective consciousness then you just might appreciate that you can learn from my mistake of pushing myself too far so that you can make a point of not doing that also. So why not use what makes mistakes count work for you?

So if you find some typos in the above article please feel free to tell me about them. I shall be pleased to hear from you especially if you can tell your own story of dyslexia.

The Key To Overcoming Stress.

In life sometimes what seems upside down has distinct advantages.

Meditation, hypnosis, yoga or the standard basket of other accepted stress reduction remedies may have their calming affects. I found they have little to do with a more straight forward and quicker also permanent solution for stress relief. Stress may be the culprit but it is the hormones the body releases because of the stress, which really damage your mental and physical health thus, also your life. Worrying about stress and how to cope with it, mostly only creates more stress. This added stress is due to the fact you realise you are not reducing your stress despite all efforts. Learning complex meditation techniques, – arranging hypnosis sessions, – taking time out for additional recreation,- yoga lessons or gym workouts, simple pile on the stress. Honestly, I do not believe any of these have any great or lasting value in stress relief. The fundamental reason is because none of them address the origin or cause. Therefore, your net gain is more stress not less. The remedy I found and the reason it works is as a result of modern medical and psychological research in studying healthy minds, and the thinking patterns of the bright geniuses amongst us. Also observing those who seem to survive a stress filled life without suffering the affects of stress. First, it is relatively simple. The only thing you require is courage, and support. As a long term researcher into stress, a mentor, trainer and life and sports-mind coach, dedicated to developing mind strategies to improve performance without more stress, I have the skills to lead you through the mind-power-recognition process. The great thing is that once you have mastered this straightforward discipline, you have it for life.

The great thinkers, industrialists, creators, movers and shakers through the centuries keep on telling us the same message, which is: “keep it simple.” One percent of the world’s population may be able to afford complex Swiss watches costing a kings ransom. Such timepieces are mostly confined to their silk lined boxes or a safe draw, except for special occasions. The remaining 6.9 billion of us do very well with simple watches that are perfectly reliable day after day. Wherever you look, you will find that people have a prevalence to leaving the complicated in their boxes because they are stressful to use. Whereas, relying on the simple, is less stressful because we know it works and works easily. As we all know, we can sometimes be confounded as to the ‘simple’ that is staring us in the face. When the penny finally drops, we tend to say or think, “It is so simple why didn’t I see that before” or “It is so simple why didn’t I think of that before.”

N.B. Do not beat yourself up for regrets of the past errors or thinking yourself as stupid. The fact is; it is not so simple to see the simple. The reason for this apparent anomaly is due to the fact that we are educated to value the complex. The phenomenon always transcends the manner in which we frame it. This is to say that we interact in a way that produces the consequences we want. Another problem is that the more complex our lives become, the more we create our own stress. This does not mean you cannot have a beautiful, happy, healthy, complex life. What it does suggest is that if you want to have a beautiful, happy, healthy, complex life, you need to change your thinking strategies. Change old redundant thinking patterns and mind strategies for better ones that produce endorphins rather than cortisol.

So, here is a simple key to locking stress out. I mentioned above that stress causes the body to produce stress hormones, largely cortisol. Incidentally, persistent high levels of stress and thus mass cortisol production, can damage your heart and your brain apart from other negative health issues. By reversing the process, the body does not produce vast amounts of cortisol. Instead the body produces endorphins. These are a basket of hormones that support feelings of wellbeing and confidence. Therefore, there is a fantastic bonus as you can apply the same principles to your entire life. The story and exercises are in Mind Manual 1. at $37 or 35CHF. You may be interested in mind-power-recognition training and support but I believe it is a good idea to read the book first to make sure this is for you.

Stress is now so current also far better understood by the medical science than only a few years ago. It is now a familiar topic in newspapers or a wide band of specific interest magazines. The biggest problem is that we all recognise stress. Even a large proportion of young children are showing signs of being conscious of overwhelming stress. This is serious but few recognise the need to do something or what to do about it before it is too late.

Meditation, hypnosis, deep breathing, workouts at the gym and the multitude of other remedies tripped out by the experts or helpers, magazine article writers, etc., do little lasting good. I promise you these are not idle words. I went through serious stress burnout myself. So severe it put my life on hold for more than 2 years, during, which time I lost all my income also the 7 companies I had built. Please believe me when I assure you I do know the consequences of stress. I tested many of those remedies as mentioned above. I can categorically say none of them were more than a temporary distraction. That has been a trauma for me. My one saving grace was that I already knew about trauma resolution, so I helped myself out of that mess. You may know that trauma is the fastest way the mind learns the lessons of what not to do. One problem for us all is that we freeze and avoid any situation that in any way links to that trauma. This is one of those life paradoxes of exactly what we should not do. What happens is that because we focus with trauma intensity on what we should not do that is exactly what we end up by doing. The story and exercises are in Mind Manual 1. at $37 or the equivalent in other currencies. You may be interested in mind-power-recognition training and support but I believe it is a good idea to read the book first to make sure this is for you. To find out more about Mind Manual 1 also to read the preview, log onto www.theminmanual.wordpress.com

So 15 years ago I devoted myself to studying the mind, brain, body in relation to stress. It took 12 years before I began to discover some startling results as an outcome of my own research and development. Although I use deep meditation strategies to achieve intense focused concentration – meditation, hypnosis, etc., have little to do with what I discovered about stress relief or thinking strategies for performance. Stress may be the culprit but it is the hormones the body releases because of the stress that really damage your mental and physical health thus, also your life. Worrying about stress and how to cope with it, mostly only creates more stress. This added stress is due to the reason that you are not instantly reducing your stress. Learning complex meditation techniques, arranging hypnosis sessions, taking time out for additional recreation, yoga lessons or gym workouts, simple pile on the stress. Therefore, your net gain is more stress not less. The remedy I found and the reason it works is as a result of modern medical and psychological research in studying healthy minds, and the thinking patterns of the bright geniuses also those who seem to survive a stress filled life without suffering the effects of stress. First, it is relatively simple. The only thing you require is courage, and support. As a long term researcher into stress, a mentor, trainer and life and sports-mind coach, I have the skills to lead you through the mind-power-recognition process. The great thing is that once you have mastered this straightforward discipline, you have it for life. There is also a fantastic bonus. You can apply the same principles to your entire life. The story and exercises are in Mind Manual 1. at $37 or the equivalent in other currencies. You may be interested in mind-power-recognition training and support but I believe it is a good idea to read the book first to make sure this is for you. To find out more about Mind Manual 1

Hi

What would an anti-stress mind strategy make for you?

Did you know you have mind strategies for every conscious and unconscious action you make every day of your life? Are they your stepping stones or your stumbling blocks?

How many behaviours do you have, which you wish you could stop doing because they spoil your quality of life or are simply annoying to you, your husband, your wife, family or your work colleagues?

Would you like to know how to master your unconscious mind strategies in order to stop doing those irritating or distressing behaviours?

This is how you do it. practically all those behaviours are controlled by programs in your subconscious or as I prefer to call it, your super conscious. Each program has its own language. What you need to do to change an existing habitual programmed behaviour, which you would like to get rid of is to learn how these languages work. Then you can make change happen easily and quickly.

I have a special offer for you which will show you how to do all this and more.

Go to my previous blog ‘We have first stage lift off’ where you will find my special free offer. If you are interested in improving your life, how can you not be seriously interested in this serious offer?

We have First Stage Lift Off.

MIND MANUAL 1 has made its first stage progress liftoff. Yesterday October 19 Mind Manual 1 was listed on Amazon Kindle E-Book shop. Go to Amazon > Kindle > Science > Education and there you will find it. It is planned that later it will be available on Clickbank direct also on Amazon POD in paperback format.

But wait! Mind Manual 1 is not yet published on Clickbank E-Book or on Amazon in paperback edition because I have a surprise and genuine special offer for you at the bottom of this weblog. No, no strings attached. What you see promised is what you get. Yes, it is really that simple.

Description

Do you or any of your children have difficulty with focused concentration? Did you know there are many simple strategies for successful concentration also prolonged focused concentration? Did you know top sports men and women use these mind strategies to improve their performance far beyond that of sports enthusiasts? Did you know you can do the same?

Discover mind management strategies that you, I and everyone should have started to learn before our first school lesson. Mind Manual 1 is literally what it says. When you bought your last new car or that flat screen TV, there was a manual to tell you how it works written in simple language. No one gave you a manual to tell you how your mind works. So here is your personal mind manual.

Mind Manual 1 is packed with success mind strategies. Just reading this book will increase your field of possibility, capability and performance. Be warned if you do not want to take responsibility for your life, please do not read this book.

Have you heard about the ZONE? It is all in Mind Manual 1 including how to do it. When someone says ‘mind’ do you think brain. Yes, that is what most people do, only because they know so little about the mind. Therefore, the mind search engine comes up with the nearest thing related, which is brain. So learn the languages of your mind in order to achieve greater success in your life. It is not rocket science. You will not believe how simple it is. All you have to do is change your attitude. Have you ever said about something, “It is so simple, why didn’t I think of that myself?” Well, read Mind Manual and you might just be repeating this phrase time and again. As one satisfied reader said, “It is great, I changed my attitude and everything else simply tumbled into place all on its own.”

When you were at school or if you are at school now, has anyone, any teacher given you more than a word of instruction about the mind, how it likes to work or how to manage it in the best way so that it can steer you to everything you want? That is provided you have actually thought about, know or have even vaguely planned what you do want and when, where or how you want it. Yes, most comments I hear say goal building does not work. Of course feckless goal building does not work because most people, fool themselves into believing total nonsense that create impossible goals. Then you expect flawed thinking strategies to make them work like magic. As little if anything happens, you convince yourself that goal building does not work. WRONG!!! You are successfully goal building all the time but you have never observed how you do that. Mind Manual explains in detail how to consciously reproduce you own unconscious success strategy.

You likely have an idea what concentration is, even, you might be good at concentration! Okay, imagine you are teaching someone how to concentrate. How would you do that or what would you tell them to do? Now, how do you know that is concentration or the best form of concentration? How many concentration strategies do you know consciously? First think about these questions then to find answers to other mind questions you just have to read this book.

When you read Mind Manual 1 through to the finish you will realise you know it is right because you have already experienced some of it. The difference is that I explain how to use what you already know to make it infinitely more affective to give you far more than an edge on success in whatever are your goals or projects. I demonstrate how this ensures your future success. Well that is provided you actually are willing to take the responsibility for your future rather than just accepting what happens to come along your way through hap-hazard management of your mind.

Everything in this world also the universe, is in a constant state of change. You may change your mind but the only thing that never changes is this universe is the way your mind works!

When you have this information you have it for the whole of your life!

Would you be interested to read a manual that tells you not only how your mind works but also tells you how to slow down the rate of mistakes you make.

Now get this, what would you do if you discovered easy to master thinking patterns and mind strategies also training exercises, which lead you to success after success also practically eliminated failure in your life.

Would You Like to be indomitable, invincible, unstoppable in anything and everything you choose to set out to achieve? You think I am joking. Find out how Barton, a 66 year old man moved over 100 tons of building materials to build an ancillary room extension, a cold store in concrete and natural stone. He then constructed a long flight of garden steps, which stylishly curled around the cold store built in large chunks of natural rock. then Barton finished the whole thing off by covering the cold store with a rockery garden. He did it all on his own in 14 days. He had no other help other than I taught him how to program his mind for success. No pain, no strained muscles, no injury, no exhaustion, no errors, no mistakes. All finished and dusted and exactly on time as planned. You can do the same with whatever you want to achieve. Continue reading →

Do you want to become Wealthy, Wise and Indomitable?

Have you heard Of Mind-Power-Recognition? No! That is because it is just about to be launched. It is new it is unusual and it is quite different. Mind-Power-Recognition is sophisticated, very serious also once you have it, you have it for life.

Have you made many mistakes in your life? Frankly too many mistakes or failings. Yes, Okay I did that too just as have everyone I have known. Some of those memories are pretty well too painful to recall and think about the mistakes you made for more than a few seconds? OK. So you would like to change that. You know you cannot undo the past but what about preventing similar things happening again.

Would you be interested to read a manual that tells you not only how your mind works but also tells you how to slow down the rate of mistakes you make.

Now get this, what would you do if you discovered easy to master thinking patterns and mind strategies also training exercises, which lead you to success after success also practically eliminated failure in your life?

Have you wondered why only a tiny few become the great stars of sports, politics, industry, science, music, films or theatre?

No this is not promising you the world if you believe in the Universal laws of abundance or tap acupuncture points or some other system to change your life.

Mind-Power-Recognition is all about discovering the power of your own unconscious mind as well as how to access it to do what you want it to do for you. You think this is a wild promise. Okay, fair enough, yes, it does sound unbelievable. Well think that if you like. You can always come back later having watched the dynamic crowd get a head lead once again. They are the leaders who will certainly recognise the power of what is on offer here. This is how the top people become and stay the stars of their profession. This is the science of the mind showing you what is really happening in the depths of your unconscious mind, which you have little or mostly no awareness of. Now you can be aware because you design what is going on.

Would You Like to be indomitable, invincible, unstoppable in anything and everything you choose to set out to achieve? You think I am joking. Find out how Barton, a 66-year-old man moved over 100 tons of building materials to build an ancillary room extension, a cold store in concrete and natural stone. He then constructed a long flight of garden steps, built with large chunks of natural rock which stylishly curled around the cold store. Then Barton finished the whole thing off by covering the cold store with a rockery garden. He did it all on his own in 14 days. He had no other help other than my help teaching and coaching him how to program his mind for success. No pain, no strained muscles, no injury, no exhaustion, no rushing, no errors, no mistakes. All finished and dusted and exactly on time as planned. You can do the same with whatever you want to achieve.

First, you have to understand how your mind works and the enormous power it has.

Second, you must study how to communicate directly with your unconscious mind where your real power is.

Third, you learn how to write and upload your plans into your unconscious mind using a specific language your unconscious understands. Only then can it get on with the job of guiding you the whole way with no mistakes, no injuries and on time.

What is it? It is Mind-Power-Recognition.

Why haven’t you heard of Mind-Power-Recognition before?

I have spent the past 15 years studying, researching and testing Mind-Power-Recognition. Very soon it will be launched on the internet. When you feel the power of your mind and stand back to see what you have achieved, it is so exciting. That is particularly when it dawns on you that you can achieve anything you really do want or to do. Oh yes, one more little thing. Once you have this knowledge you have it for life.

Mind Manual 1 and Mind Manual 2 will give you everything you need to know about your mind and the way it runs your life. It explains how to change the way you think so you become the master of your life also how to create your future outcomes as you want them.

Mind Manual 1 should be available in EBook format shortly and later on also in paperback edition. Mind manual 1 gives you the basics complete with exercises. I also offer a support base so you can ask question about something you do not understand or cannot manage to master. You simply send me a message to my email address: info@build4u.ch

Mind manual 2 is the next generation with more advanced explanations complete with additional powerful thinking patterns and mind strategies. To make the most of this book it is important to master Mind Manual 1. first. Mind Manual 2, is expected to be available in both EBook and paperback editions early part of 2012.

I am not promising to wave a magic wand, you read the book and hey presto, fame and fortune or whatever are your dreams, all fall in your lap with no effort. Hello, wake up this is the real world.

I have invested almost 15 years of my life and untold thousands of £,$ and Francs studying, researching and testing Mind-Power Recognition. Mind-Power-Recognition is understanding what causes you to have failure or success thinking patterns. It also shows you how to reduce the failures and increase the successes. Now I have this knowledge also experience of Mind-Power Recognition I have distilled that information into easy to understand chunks so you can put them into daily practice.

Later on I shall be launching Mind-Power Recognition training workshops and providing a continuous support program. As experiential feedback develops, it is inevitable Mind Manual 3 and 4 will become available. So Watch this space.

Or, to make sure you do not miss this golden opportunity to learn how to increase your life and work successes, register now by contacting me with your email address to Robert Denton at:

info@build4u.ch There is no hassle, no endless inducements.

Be assured there is no commitment to buy. You are simply asking to be informed as soon as Mind Manual 1 & 2 or any subsequent books become available

I learnt the following important and valuable lesson when I was relatively young and certainly used it to create all of the 7 companies I managed for almost 30 years

If I do not plan and act decisively, nothing much will pan out decisively in my life.

Sounds common sense, yes! You can repeat this sentiment 1000 times a day and it will not make much difference to your life other than probably drive you mad. The key is understanding how to communicate this message to your deep unconscious mind so its enormous power drives you 24/24 to turning your ideas into your future reality, reduce mistakes, increase success and release your true genius. This understanding underpinned each and every successful goal, project or company I set out to build. It will work for you too once you have mastered how your mind works. I invested 15 years and a considerable fortune understanding how it works. I did this because I believe passionately in Mind-Power Recognition. For many years I felt I would like to do something that would make a difference for as many people as possible. Having understood how the mind works, I cannot think of anything more that could achieve this objective better. The world is now changing so fast and new challenges, stumbling blocks and possibilities appear each day. Now it is time millions of people discover how to access the power of their unconscious minds not by studying for a quarter of their life also at the cost of a king’s ransom but for a few Dollars, Yen. Francs or Pounds. Of course if you want a fast tract; well yes that too but it will likely cost you , much more than the price of a book or two. So why not read the book first. Then giving yourself time to learn the lessons and strategies so you can test it for yourself. No stress, no hassle, just simply ask your questions in an email.

Stress, Re-Cycling Patterns of Repeating Mistakes and Burnout.

The above picture showing the ‘Viaduc de Millau’ or Millau Bridge in southern France photographed myself, was designed by Sir Norman Foster. It is a case in point of repeating success in its own right also a repeating success of the architect and his right thinking, attitudes and planning. Whether building the Millau Bridge in France or your life wherever you live, the principles are the same. Follow these blog articles to pick up some powerful secret tips.

Warning: These articles are controversial and may offend some readers because they touch some unpleasant realities you might not like to be made aware of.

Hello

Cycling Patterns of Repeating Mistakes and Repeating Successes

Have you noticed how long term negative behaviour patterns cycle around in your life? Also that even after they have occurred two, three or more times, once you recognise them and think I’m not going to do that again, that is exactly what you eventually manage to do. Then you ask yourself, “why on earth did I do that?”

Yes, certainly, also, there are repeating success. Mostly you don’t even bother to recognise your successes or analyse them to see if they can be improved. Do you make sure you repeat them in different situation to get even more success? I doubt it unless you are the exception that proves the rule.

Have you ever taken the time to analyse the whole sequence from a similar event, which required your decision and action? Usually people notice a mistake pattern after the second time. Then they find themselves making the same mistake again even though they are trying their best to not do that.

If you have experienced this phenomenon, you might like to compare your experience with the following scenario.

Something new occurs in your life. You make a decision to deal with it and later you realise you really did shoot yourself in the foot.

You make a big mistake that really hurts. Some years later a similar situation presents itself and you have no option but to deal with it. You recognise the situation. You are determined to get it right this time. To cut a long and agonising story short, you end up making the same mistake. Yes, you spend some considerable time beating up on yourself for being so stupid. Perhaps you ask yourself, “why, why, why did I do that?” As the pain of the consequences of your actions crashes around your ears all you can think of is, ‘I even did it with my eyes open and willingly walked into the same trap.’

A few years pass and another similar situation crops up. This time you really are going to get it sorted. Oh no, please don’t tell me, you got it all wrong again and made exactly the same mistakes. For the third time and second time knowingly, you felt you were caught in the same trap and had no options but to make the same decisions. That was even though you knew you were going to hate yourself for doing so.

Now let’s analyse what is happening. First the situations may be different yet they have similar characteristics also your decisions will have significant consequences.

One of the similar characteristics each situation has is that you are faced with the situation as a direct consequence of previous decisions and actions.

Next, the inappropriate way you thought about the situations and the decisions and actions that followed, can be traced to the next time a similar problem cycles around. In affect your previous solution and action sowed the seed for the same or similar problem to re-create itself.

Accept it or not, this is what mind programming is all about. Like situations trigger like programmed solutions regardless of being good, bad, right or wrong. It is the reason why habitual criminals continue to re-offend. When they come out of prison they are faced with the same situation and problems. Automatically they re-invent the same thinking and solutions even though they fully realise they will likely be caught and go back to prison. It is from this human behaviour that we got the expression, ’A leopard does not change its spots.’ It is the same reason why the rich get richer. In simple terms if you want to be a genius or seriously rich you really do need to have the attitudes and planning of a genius or the seriously rich. Anything else whether a Leopard or your favorite pop star are not good enough unless your particular Leopard or pop star happens to have a triple doctorate in business studies, inventive intuition and quantum physics.

There is a way to change these troublesome programmed behaviours. The first thing is that you must not think about, make the decisions or take any action yourself. If you do you will inevitably do the same wrong thing again.

To break the negative cycle it is essential to use someone else’s thinking strategies. That is someone who is skilled at dealing with the new situation appropriately and successfully. This is why we use solicitors and lawyers, architects, engineers or any profession who is trained to deal with the problems wisely. They know how to handle problems about, which we have little knowledge or experience ourselves. Sir Henry Foster was chosen to design the Millau Bridge because he had a reputation at being successful in designing successful buildings or structures.

This is not a time to, ‘do it yourself unless you have an abundance of success strategies under your belt.’

The best solution is to consult professionals. That may be more than one. Certainly it may be personal and embarrassing. It is essential to master your feeling and ego image of total embarrassment. Ask yourself, ‘Is it better to suffer a little embarrassment also learn a success strategy, or stroke your ego and shoot yourself in the foot again.

Consider this; follow your fear of sharing your problem. That means run the same old programmed thinking and regret it once again.

Alternatively; break your limited failure thinking pattern by learning new thinking strategies. Those are strategies far more appropriate to your need. Then walk away from it smiling also happy knowing you have finally cracked it.

In my next article I will look at ‘Cycling Patterns of Repeating Successes.’
